Uhuru Skipping Club

When lockdown restrictions first started, gyms were forced to close, and we had no other option but to work out from home. I was worried about gaining weight and not being fit and healthy enough to fight COVID if I became ill. I decided to start skipping. A few of my friends joined in and this led to the Uhuru Skipping Club.

We now have 60+ women in our skipping club. They all have different goals and they are at different levels of fitness and body weight. However, we all have the same goal to be fit, healthy and to feel good in ourselves.
